Fabrice Abriel: "I believe in my squad"
The Paris Saint-Germain manager discussed the draw for Round 2 of the UEFA Women’s Champions League qualifying stage and his side’s double header against Juventus.
FABRICE ABRIEL:
"Juventus have just played a friendly against Olympique Lyonnais [which OL won 4-2]. We know some of their players from them being former Parisiennes, like Amalie Vangsgaard, Viola Calligaris and Estelle Cascarino, and others from the France team, like Pauline Peyraud-Magnin. So, we know them well as individuals, and we'll take a look at them as a team. We've got a good chance of qualifying because the second leg is at home, but we'll need to put in two big performances and try to be at our best. Juventus played their third league game last weekend, which isn't the case for us because we'll be playing our first league game between the first leg and the second leg. It's a change to the schedule that we'll need to take into account, but I believe in my squad, which will fight to earn its place in the Champions League, to take part in the group stage and to go as far as possible. Generally speaking, the most important game is at the end of the season, but now, it's at the very start."
