Lawrence: 'Maintain our winning ways'
Paris Saint-Germain take on Kharkov this afternoon on Matchday 2 of the UEFA Women's Champions League. Full-back Ashley Lawrence spoke to PSG TV on the eve of the match.
Ashley, how does the squad feel ahead of the game?
"We have made a good start to the season, both in the French first division and the Champions League. We have scored a lot of goals without conceding. It wasn't easy to win away in Iceland, but we came back with the victory and that just highlghts our ambition for the season."
This game is the first home game in the competition this season...
"We are happy to see the Champions League back in Paris. We will do our best to get the result we want and maintain our winning ways."
What has the coach told you about kharkov?
"They are a side that play very compact, defensive. It's up to us to impose our game. We want to dominate possession, but we also have to be clinical in attack. We need to score goals, while staying focused and organised in defence."
