Amalie Vangsgaard: 'I wanted to be part of this great club'
The new arrival told us of her delight at signing for Paris Saint-Germain, and explained what she now hopes to achieve with the team.
Amalie, WELCOME TO PariS! HoW DO YOU FEEL now?
"Thank you. I must say it's quite incredible. My dad came here with me and the look on his face tells you a lot about the emotions provoked by this. When I got the opportunity to join Paris Saint-Germain, I didn't hesitate for a second. I wanted to be part of this great club."
WHAT KIND OF PLAYER ARE YOU?
"I'm a forward. It's difficult to describe yourself, but I'm someone who works a lot, I never give up. I'm quick on the pitch and I want to score goals!"
WHAT DO YOU KNOW OF THE FRENCH LEAGUE?
"It's a league I follow a lot, because I have a lot of friends who have played in it or who are still playing in it. It's a step up from the league where I have been playing, and I'm looking forward to playing with some of the best players in the world."
WHAT ARE YOUR AIMS FOR THE SECOND HALF OF THE SEASON?
"I want to help the team as much as possible, score goals, help the squad go as far as we can in the Champions League and challenge for the league title. Personally, I'm going to keep improving, but also show that I can meet this great challenge now."
