A huge European night at the Parc des Princes for our Parisiennes

More than 27,000 Paris Saint-Germain supporters headed to the Parc des Princes to support Didier Ollé-Nicolle's side as they secured their place in the semi-finals in an electric atmosphere.

On Wednesday evening, supporters travelled en masse to Les Parisiens' home to support the players from the capital as they hosted Bayern Munich in the second leg of the Women’s Champions League quarter-finals. A gala match that brought together the reigning French and German champions, and which saw our Franciliennes secure their ticket for the final four of the prestigious competition for the sixth time in their history!

And the Paris supporters really stood up and were counted! There were more than 27,000 fans that bought tickets to attend Katoto and her teammates' festival of football. A record crowd for the Paris Saint-Germain Women's team, and also a record for a European match in France.

More than 2,000 ultras added to the atmosphere throughout the encounter, constantly pushing our side to find the equaliser in order to knock out the impressive Bavarians.

To the impressive Rouge et Bleu contingent, you can also add 1,000 beneficiaries of the Foundation who had been invited to be a part of the historic evening. As a reminder, the Foundation works throughout the year on over 400 initiatives helping people with financial, social or medical difficulties.

To bring to a close the 'March for equality' initiative, a month focused on promoting gender equality, what could be better for the Paris Saint-Germain Foundation than making the Parc des Princes a theatre of dreams for our Women's team?

Members of the men's first team were also at the ground in order to support the semi-finalists. We were able to see Kylian Mbappé and Juan Bernat present in the Parc des Princes. The French World Champion headed down to the dressing room to congratulate his female counterparts after the final whistle.

Finally, several guests of honour were in attendance at the Parc des Princes, with Miss France who comes from Paris and Ciryl Gane, the French MMA legend.
