Les Parisiennes to face Olympique Lyonnais in the UWCL semi-finals

By knocking out BK Häcken at the Parc des Princes tonight, Paris Saint-Germain booked their place in the UEFA Women’s Champions League semi-finals, where they’ll face fellow D1 Arkema side Olympique Lyonnais.

Les Rouge et Bleu already know who their next opponents on the European stage will be, as Les Parisiennes are set to take on Olympique Lyonnais in the semi-finals of the UEFA Women's Champions League.

The capital club made their way past BK Häcken by setting themselves up nicely with a 2-1 win in the first leg in Sweden before also emerging victorious from the second leg at the Parc des Princes this evening, with 3-0 being the score this time around.

OL, meanwhile, progressed to the final four by eliminating SL Benfica 6-2 on aggregate, winning 2-1 away and 4-1 at home to set up a clash between the top two teams in Division 1 Arkema in late April, with the first leg to be played in Lyon and the second leg to take place at the Parc des Princes.

Les Parisiennes will therefore be looking to topple the eight-time UWCL winners and book a prestigious place in the final, which is set to be played on 25th May 2024 at San Mamés in Bilbao, Spain, where the winner of this all-French double header will face the winner of the semi-final between Chelsea FC and FC Barcelona.
