Uwe Gensheimer: 'Keep rolling after the break'

Paris Saint-Germain Handball closed out 2018 in the best possible way, claiming a thrilling win in their Lidl Starligue Round 13 clash in Nantes (29-30). Uwe Gensheimer, Rodrigo Corrales and Raul Gonzalez gave us their thoughts in the win clinched right on the final buzzer.

Raul Gonzalez (Paris Saint-Germain Handball coach):

"It was a very complicated match... Nantes quickly went three goals clear, but Rodrigo [Corrales] made a lot of saves and we were only one goal down at the break. In the second half, our seven-man attack worked very well against their six outfield players. But we can't afford to get complacent after the break. We know that Nantes, Montpellier and Chambéry can win all their matches. We're not out of danger."

Uwe Gensheimer (Paris Saint-Germain Handball left-winger):

"We knew that it would be really difficult here, but once again we got off to a bad start. Nantes played with a lot of intensity... I don't know why that surprised us, as we know how they play. But after that we showed a lot of quality in defence, and in attack too, especially when we attacked with 7 against 6. We have dropped only the single point in the first half of the season, and now we need to make sure we do the same or better in the second half."

Rodrigo Corrales (Paris Saint-Germain Handball 'keeper):

"Mikki [Hansen] scored an incredible goal on the buzzer! He won us the match against an excellent Nantes side. Every time we play them it's a tough match that goes down to the wire. We have taken a three-point lead over Nantes. It's a small lead. Last season, we were in the other position and we ended up winning the title, so this time we need to do all we can not to be caught."
