Several Rouge et Bleu honoured after Plock success

The capital club defeated Wisla Plock 26-30 in Poland in the first leg of their EHF Champions League Round of 16. Several Rouge et Bleu shone during the match, with Kamil Syprzak, Elohim Prandi and Jannick Green all in the limelight.

KAMIL, ELOHIM IN THE BEST 7

Kamil Syprzak and Elohim Prandi, who had been in fine form in recent Liqui Moly StarLigue matches, came up trumps in Plock, both finishing the game with eight goals from as many attempts. The French international was clinical in front of goal and put on a show, with one of his goals featuring in this week's Top Goals list. For his part, Kamil moved into first place on the EHF Champions League scoring chart with 94 goals, tied with Emil Madsen, although he has needed fewer attempts than the Danish right-back to get the job done.

JANNICK GREEN SPECTACULAR

Les Rouge et Bleu were also particularly solid in containing the Polish attacks. With ten saves, Jannick Green made a major contribution to the crucial win ahead of the return leg at the Stade Pierre de Coubertin on 4 April. One of his saves in particular found its way into the Top Saves for the matchday.
