Sander Sagosen: 'It's tough for everyone here'

On Sunday afternoon, Paris Saint-Germain Handball won over Aalborg (29-32), in a tight Velux EHF Champions League Round 9 clash. Raul Gonzalez, Sander Sagosen and Benoît Kounkoud gave us their thoughts on the win.

Raul Gonzalez (Paris Saint-Germain Handball coach):
"Barcelona also had difficulties winning here... We can be satisfied, because it was no mean feat. Aalborg played without pressure and we had to be ready. Now, we must rest before the visit Saint-Raphael. Before we talk about Sunday (against Barcelona), we have to focus on this league match."

Sander Sagosen (Paris Saint-Germain Handball playmaker):
"We were up against a great team, in a great venue, so we knew it would be difficult. Every match is a tough one in the upper groups, especially away from home. It's tough for everyone here. Against Barcelona, it will be a battle for top spot in the group. It's going to be another tough match, so we have to work hard. But first, we focus on Saint-Raphaël."

Benoît Kounkoud (Paris Saint-Germain Handball right-winger):
"Aalborg are a very good team who pose problems for everyone. It was a long trip, but we're leaving with the victory and that's the main thing. It's nothing but huge battles in this group stage, so we were well prepared. We are on a positive dynamic. We have to keep going! It's not easy physically, but we're lucky to be able to rely on all our players."
