Ruben Marchan: "We've worked hard since the start of pre-season"
Paris Saint-Germain Handball wrapped up their summer preparations with a 37-31 win over Japan on Thursday. Check out the reactions from Raul Gonzalez, Ferran Sole Sala and Ruben Marchan.
Raul Gonzalez (Paris Saint-Germain Handball coach):
"It's difficult to know whether we've improved since the last game, because the opponents were different. But we can be happy with the win. We played well in defence and attack. It's good to win these warm-up games, but if you don't go on and win the official matches, there's no point."
Ferran Sole Sala (Paris Saint-Germain Handball right winger):
"We played better than we did on Tuesday. We lost possession less and our play was more fluid. It's a good way to finish our pre-season."
Ruben Marchan (Paris Saint-Germain Handball pivot):
"We still have a lot of things to improve. We still need to get Luka (Karabatic) and Andreas (Palicka) back. The next match will already be very important. In the meantime, we need to rest because we have a long journey to make back to France. We've worked hard since the start of pre-season and I think the team is ready for the Trophée des Champions against Nantes."
