Raul Gonzalez: 'With a 'keeper like him, it's difficult to lose'

On Wednesday evening, Paris Saint-Germain Handball once again prevailed over Flensburg (20-27), having beaten the German side four days ago in Paris (29-28). Raul Gonzalez, Thierry Omeyer and Luc Abalo gave their thoughts on the excellent performance.

Raul Gonzalez (Paris Saint-Germain Handball coach):
"We didn't play well on Saturday, so we had to change a few things in defence. But Thierry Omeyer was excellent as usual. When a 'keeper plays like that, it's difficult to loseā€¦ In attack, we also got the job done. I'm happy, as we have won all our matches."

Thierry Omeyer (Paris Saint-Germain Handball 'keeper):
"We played an excellent match, both in attack and defence. We were very solid at the back; we knew it was an important sector if we wanted to get the win. We learned from Saturday's match and made some adjustments. We knew that at home, Flensburg would be pushing forward quickly so it was important for us to get back into position quickly after we scored. We know that a four- or five-goal lead can disappear quickly in this arena."

Luc Abalo (Paris Saint-Germain Handball right-winger):
"This match was a lot like the one on Saturday. But our opponents put themselves under pressure in front of their own fans. We took the upper hand and after that, it became a psychological battle. Flensburg asked themselves some tough questions at the break, as we did on Saturday. We need to make sure we hang onto what we did right today and continue on our merry way."
