Raul Gonzalez: 'We will do better in Paris'

Check out the reactions from Raul Gonzalez, Luka Karabatic and Kamil Syprzak after Paris Saint-Germain Handball lost by one goal to Kielce (30-29) on Matchday 3 of the EHF Champions League on Wednesday afternoon.

RAUL GONZALEZ (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL COACH):

"We knew it wasn't going to be easy against a team that reached the Champions League final last season. We almost won, but we only lost by one goal. So we're capable of doing better in Paris. It's only the group stage... We need to rest, make the trip and think about the next match, in Dunkirk. It'll be a different competition and we're tired. Now it's Sunday's game that's most important."

LUKA KARABATIC (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL PIVOT AND CAPTAIN):

"To win here, you have to play a perfect match. We didn't miss much and I don't think we should be ashamed of our performance. We put up a good fight and were in the right frame of mind. Losing by a goal in Kielce is nothing to be ashamed of. The season is still long. We need to continue with this state of mind and learn from what didn't work. I'm sure we'll continue to play good matches. There are a lot of rounds to go in this group stage, so it's difficult to look ahead. A lot is still going to happen. We'll still have the chance to put in some good performances, even away from home. We can't wait for the second leg.

Now we have to avoid the trap at Dunkirk. It's always like that with two away games. We know it's not going to be easy and we don't have much time to prepare for the game. We need to focus straight away on Sunday's game. The league is very important to us."

KAMIL SYPRZAK (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL PIVOT):

"It came down to details. Both teams were highly motivated. It was a group-stage match and we know that the most important thing in this competition comes afterwards. It's painful to lose by a single goal. But we know we can beat anyone. We just need to change a few details. The team has a lot of quality. We need to get back on track, because the Champions League match is already over and we're looking ahead to the Liqui Moly StarLigue. We're going to analyse what went wrong today, but we need to focus 100% on Dunkerque, where it's going to be just as complicated."
