Raul Gonzalez: 'The last quarter of an hour was very good'

On Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain Handball played their rescheduled Lidl StarLigue Round 6 clash away to Tremblay. Les Rouge et Bleu won 30-33, thanks to strong end to the match, as confirmed by Raul Gonzalez, Luka Karabatic and Dylan Nahi.

Raul Gonzalez (Paris Saint-Germain Handball coach):
"It was complicated... Our opponents were very good and just got better and better... But we managed to make the difference in the last 15 minutes. We lost fewer balls and we did some good things. I'm happy because I know all the matches are going to be like this. We have to stay strong and keep it that way."

Luka Karabatic (pivot and captain of Paris Saint-Germain Handball):
"We were expecting a complicated match, especially after an international break... We lacked a bit of cohesion. Tremblay needed points and arrived with a lot of motivation. There was a lot of commitment. We managed to make the difference with our defence. We forced them to shoot from a distance. Up front, we simplified the duels. We knew we would need 60 minutes to win. We're happy because it's never easy to win away in the Lidl StarLigue, but still there were a few imperfections in our play."

Dylan Nahi (Paris Saint-Germain Handball left-winger):
"It wasn't easy, but we knew that's how it would be! We were expecting a physically tough encounter and that's what we got. It was up to us to show that we were stronger and that's what we did. We are happy with the victory! We must continue to work before Nîmes. They will be ready for us!"
