Raul Gonzalez: 'Fight to the very end'

On Sunday afternoon, Paris Saint-Germain Handball lost at home to Barcelona (32-35) in Matchday 10 of the Velux EHF Champions League. A defeat that distances them from first place in Group A. Raul Gonzalez, Rodrigo Corrales and Viran Morros spoke to PSG TV about the match:

Raul Gonzalez (Paris Saint-Germain Handball coach):
"We wanted to win, but we knew it would be difficult, playing with a right-handed man on the right. We didn't have the opportunity to come back at the end of the game, due to some mistakes. We played the last minutes with two players down and it was very complicated. Now we are third in Group A, but we have to fight to the end. The Champions League will really start after this group phase."

Rodrigo Corrales (Paris Saint-Germain Handball goalkeeper):
"It was how we expected... It was very close until the end, but in the second half we made mistakes that didn't allow us to take two points. That's what everyone wanted, especially at home, where we hadn't been beaten in a long time. The Stade Coubertin is our home. I would like to thank the supporters again! They will push us to work and come back stronger. We have to keep going, because on Thursday, Montpellier is waiting for us."

Viran Morros (Paris Saint-Germain Handball left-back):
"First of all, I would like to congratulate Barcelona, who had an excellent game. But it was just a group match... We still have things to improve, but there are still a lot of games left. Last season, we finished first in our group, but we were eliminated in the quarter-finals. We must not be discouraged. On Thursday, another important match awaits us, in the Coupe de la Ligue, against Montpellier."
