Preview: 5 things about Bucharest - Paris
It's back to Europe for Paris Saint-Germain Handball! On Wednesday afternoon, in Matchday 5 action, Les Rouge et Bleu will try to confirm their positive EHF Champions League dynamic. But the task will not be easy away to Dinamo Bucharest.
1 - THE TABLE
Having beaten Zagreb on Matchday 4 (40-31), the capital club are well placed in the race for the top two places, which qualify directly for the quarter-finals. With three wins and only one defeat, they are just two points behind leaders Veszprém, who are the only team to have beaten them so far this season - 36-34 in Hungary on Matchday 1.

Despite a difficult start with two defeats and a draw in their first three matches, the Romanian side seem to be getting out of the woods - as their 32-27 win over Porto a fortnight ago attests. After four games, they are in fifth place in the group, three points off the podium and one ahead of the drop zone.
2 - TWO TEAMS THAT SCORE
Since the start of their European campaign, Paris and Bucharest have both been scoring a lot. Les Rouge et Bleu's attack is the best in the group, with 140 goals, while Dinamo's is not far behind. With 128 goals, they have the third-best attack in Group A. Both teams owe their statistics to respective top scorers Kamil Syprzak (29 goals) and Andrii Akimenko (23).
3 - STARLIGUE VETERANS
Wednesday's opposition will be the occasion for a reunion between the Parisians and former Liqui Moly StarLigue players. One of them is Cédric Sorhaindo, who played for the capital club from 2004 to 2009. The former French international is accompanied by Eduardo Gurbindo (Nantes) and Ali Zein (Aix). The Egyptian notably scored ten goals against Porto.

4 - HEAD TO HEAD
Last season, the two teams were also in the same group. Raul Gonzalez' men won twice! First, at the Stade Pierre de Coubertin, with a six-goal haul from Ferran Solé Sala (41-30). Then, in Romania, Mikkel Hansen (seven goals) and Mathieu Grébille (5 from 5) were very inspired (31-39).
