Player of the Month: October voting opens

Before the international break, Paris Saint-Germain Handball participated in five matches in all competitions, winning four. In your opinion, which of our players deserves the title of Player of the Month for October?

NEDIM REMILI

Nedim Remili, who was Les Rouge et Bleus' top scorer in September with 31 goals, once again racked up the goals. The France international managed to balance quantity and quality, notably away to Ivry (24-30), where he delivered a perfect performance of eight goals from eight attempts. A few weeks earlier, he made the Nîmes rearguard (28-31) suffer, finishing the game with ten goals. Two great performances that earned him a place in the Lidl StarLigue's Best 7 in rounds 5 and 7.

KAMIL SYPRZAK

Efficiency is also a catchcry for Kamil Syprzak. In the five matches he has played with the capital club in recent weeks, he has finished three of his performances with a 100% success rate in front of goal. When Chambéry came calling (32-39), he was among the top scorers in the match (and earned a place in the Best 7 for round 6) with a 5 from 5 against Julien Meyer and Yann Genty. He also gave Celje's 'keepers little chance, firing a 4 from 4 in the Velux EHF Champions League.

LUKA KARABATIC

Kamil's positional partner Luka Karabatic didn't falter in front of goal either. Of his 30 shots on goal in September, he scored 25 times (83% success rate). Our captain also played his part perfectly in Barcelona - despite the Paris' defeat (36-32) - managing a great performance that saw him get the better of Gonzalo Perez de Vargas each time he tried his luck and finish as top scorer in the game with eight goals. In Nîmes, he was one of the main architect of his side's win, firing 5 from 6.

VINCENT GERARD

While Les Rouge et Bleus' front line performed well in September, their defence - led by the excellent Vincent Gérard - had nothing to be ashamed of either. Against Celje in Velux EHF Champions League round 4 action, our back line proved intractable, conceding only 18 goals (27-18). Our 'keeper played a key role, turning away 11 Slovenian shots. In the Lidl StarLigue, he showed shone against Nîmes (10 saves, including one in the Top Stops) and against Ivry (nine).

VIRAN MORROS

Our two goalkeepers, Vincent and Rodrigo Corrales, can rely on good defenders. Among them is Viran Morros. The Spanish international is a specialist in this field, proving immovable in front of the six-metre line and kicking off several of his team's counter-attacks - sometimes even finding himself on the spot to conclude the move with a precision finish! This is how he managed to score twice, in the Champions League, against Celje and on his former stomping ground against Barcelona. His commitment and efficiency have made him one of the favourites for the title of best Parisian of the month.
