Parisians shine on national team duty
On Wednesday evening, at the Antarès in Le Mans, several Paris Saint-Germain players were on the court as part of the Tournoi de France, which aims to prepare various national teams for the next World Cup. France, featuring a number of Parisians, won against Luc Steins' Netherlands (43-32).
All the capital club's representatives in this match distinguished themselves! After a back-and-forth first half that saw the home side head into the break with their noses in front (19-18), Les Bleus pulled out all the stops in the second half! With a number of excellent Parisians leading by example - notably Nikola Karabatic with a 4 from 5 - Guillaume Gille's players outscored the dutch 24-14 in the second term, despite Luc Steins' 6 from 8.
