Two Parisians rewarded for star turns in Chartres

Victorious in Chartres after controlling the match from start to finish (25-31), Paris Saint-Germain Handball consolidated their place at the top of the league standings on Sunday. This fine performance did not go unnoticed by the authorities, who rewarded two of the capital club's stars.

Elohim Prandi picks up where he left off

Chartres have suffered at the hands of Elohim Prandi this season. Our left-back proved merciless in the reverse fixture earlier this season. With nine goals and three assists, he led his team to a success that was harder to achieve than the final score (36-26) would suggest. This Sunday, Elo' once again emerged as the leader to drive the capital club to another deserved league success (25-31). The French international even did better than in the first leg, finding the net ten times and delivering three assists. A performance that earned him a place in the Team of the Week for the third time this season in the Liqui Moly StarLigue.

Jannick Green imperious once again

Having already turned in a massive performance the previous week against Créteil (18 saves), Jannick Green once again played a crucial role in Paris's claiming victory. This time, however, our goalkeeper managed to earn a place in the Team of the Week. With 13 saves against Chartres, Jannick rose to the challenge and helped Les Rouge et Bleu consolidate their place at the top of the Liqui Moly StarLigue standings. This is the second award of the league season for our Danish international, who was also honoured a few months ago after the match against Créteil. With 19 saves to his name that night, he set a new Rouge et Bleu record.
