Parisians in international action

While several Euro 2022 qualifiers featuring our players have been postponed, there were three Parisians taking the court in international action this week.

Denmark
Our two Danes, Henrik Toft Hansen and Mikkel Hansen, got their qualification campaign off to an ideal start. On Thursday, the 2019 World Champions were playing host to Switzerland in Aarhus. The Parisians played their part in the side's win (31-26), with one goal from Henrik and three from Mikky. On Saturday, they travelled to Vantaa to face Finland. Without the services of our left-back, but with our pivot getting on the scoresheet, Denmark clocked two more points (22-40) and now sit atop Group 7 alongside Macedonia.

Spain
European champions in 2020, Spain have already punched their ticket for the next edition, which will take place in January 2022 in Slovakia and Hungary. La Roja played a warm-up match against the Hungarians on Wednesday, and while Ferran Solé Sala stayed in Paris, Viran Morros was present with his compatriots. However, he could not prevent them falling to a 32-29 defeat at the at the Veszprém Arena.
