Nikola's nine-metre missile

Paris Saint-Germain Handball lost out against Kiel in the second leg of the EHF Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday (33-32), but their performance was far from reproachable. Les Rouge et Bleu cooked up some classy moves, like Nikola Karabatic's shot from distance - a goal that saw Niko earn a place among the Top Goals of the matchday.

Nikola had a great game in Kiel on Thursday. Even though it was not enough to qualify his side for a place in Cologne, the France centre-half scored five times from as many attempts - but he was also selfless, with four assists. In addition to his magnificent kung fu (set up by Nedim Remili) before the break, it was his powerful shot from nine metres in the second half that earned him second place in this week's Top Goals.
