More action for our internationals
During this short international break, several Paris Saint-Germain Handball stars have been representing their respective national teams - here's how our Rouge et Bleu have fared.
Denmark - France: 38-40
Having already won the first leg in Lyon (33-32), Les Bleus doubled down on Saturday against a Danish team whose supremacy has nigh-on constant for several years. Despite being on home turf, the Scandinavians were unable to contain the French onslaught, with Parisian left-back Elohim Prandi particularly dangerous. With eight goals from ten attempts, he was one of the driving forces behind France's success. Despite Jannick Green's four saves and Jacob Holm's two goals, Denmark suffered a second defeat in a row and saw France take the lead in the 2026 EHF Euro Cup.
Netherlands - Faroe Islands: 31-32
After a close call in their last match in the Faroe Islands (26-26), the Netherlands were unable to do any better in their own arena - in fact, this time they fell to a narrow defeat on home turf. However, this disappointing performance was not due to the Rouge et Bleu on duty that night: Luc Steins (5 from 5) and Dani Baijens (6 from 6) both proved perfect in front of goal. Nonetheless, this setback is problematic for the Oranjes, who have dropped to third place in Euro 2026 Group B - while their opponents on the night took top spot. They have two more matches - against Ukraine and Kosovo - to try to re-take the lead.
