Luka Karabatic: 'A great success'

Check out what Raul Gonzalez, Luka Karabatic and Jannick Green had to say after Paris Saint-Germain Handball's extremely important win over Plock (26-32),

RAUL GONZALEZ (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL COACH):

"We started badly, especially in defence, where our 6-0 didn't work. But in a 5-1, it went better and we were able to lead by a goal at the break. Everyone upped their game in the second half and we pulled away. We are guaranteed of finishing in top spot. We have to be happy, because it was complicated, against good teams. We play a lot of games, so skipping the round of 16 will allow us to rest. Before Veszprém, there is the journey home and, of course, the match in Nîmes. After that we can prepare for Veszprém."

LUKA KARABATIC (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL PIVOT AND CAPTAIN):

"We played a very good match. We know that it's difficult to win here. They are a dangerous team on their home turf. We were well prepared and we managed to do our job. We put in a good performance and we deserved our win. We have achieved an initial objective - it's a great achievement to qualify directly for the quarters. We haven't manage to do it in previous years. But this is not the end of the road. We want to continue our journey. Against Vespzrem, it won't be easy. We want to finish the group stage on a positive, in front of our fans."

JANNICK GREEN (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL GOALKEEPER):

"The beginning was difficult. We know it's not easy here. We played very well and we were effective in attack and defence. I'm happy. It was important for us to qualify for the quarters. Next week we want to win against Veszprém. The team wants to win every game."
