Luc Steins: 'Still a long way to go'
Check out the reactions from Raul Gonzalez, Luc Steins and Kamil Syprzak after Paris Saint-Germain Handball's defeat in Chambéry (34-33) on Sunday.
RAUL GONZALEZ (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL COACH):
"We controlled a lot of the game, but you have to do it right up to the end. And we were not able to do that. We dropped two important points in the title race. We have to get back to work. We were good in defence and attack, but we weren't good enough in the last seven minutes and that made the difference."
LUC STEINS (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL CENTRE-HALF):
"It hurts to lose like that. We opened up a good lead at the beginning of the game. But then we made too many mistakes. We let them back in the game. We knew they are a good team. To win at Le Phare, you have to play a perfect game and that wasn't the case. Now we have to win all our games to have a hope of being champions. There's still a long way to go."
KAMIL SYPRZAK (PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN HANDBALL PIVOT):
"We knew it would be difficult... The defeat is our fault. We had a good first half, but we let up. We gave Chambéry the chance to come back and they took it. We will never give up in the race for the title; we still have every chance. It's a long season. It's just sad to go to off on national-team duty without winning. We need to fix a few more things to make sure we work as usual."
