Luc Steins puts on a show
On Wednesday, the capital club made the most of their return to the EHF Champions League with a 25-31 win away to Eurofarm Pelister. Les Rouge et Bleu showed just how talented they are, with Luc Steins leading the way.
The Parisians are more than ever in the mix as the final sprint of the EHF Champions League group phase begins. In a tight Group A, in which only one point separates second-placed Aalborg from fifth-placed Szeged, every game counts. Raul Gonzalez's men have clearly understood this, as demonstrated by their perfect performance at Eurofarm Pelister.
Les Rouge et Bleu never wavered against the Macedonians, thanks in no small part to their efficiency in front of goal - and Luc Steins was a prime example of the capital club's attacking prowess. In addition to his two assists, the Dutch international also scored three goals. One of his goals was named among the five best of EHF Champions League Matchday 11, and it's worth checking out again and again...
