Luc Steins: "Get back on track this Sunday"

Check out what Raul Gonzalez, Mathieu Grébille and Luc Steins had to say after their EHF Champions League defeat by Füchse Berlin at Coubertin (34-37).

Raul Gonzalez (Paris Saint-Germain handball coach):

"I think we put up a good fight. Berlin are a good team, especially with Mathias Gidsel, who is one of the best players in the world. We had to be more solid defensively to have a chance of winning this match. There was room to win, but the Champions League is what it is. We have to get through the group stage, and then we'll see, we're still in touch with the top two positions. All the same, there are positives to take away from this game, because we've had quite a few problems in recent weeks. We're gradually coming back."

Mathieu Grébille (Paris Saint-Germain handball left winger):

"The match came down to details, and we were four goals short of winning the game. It was a high-level duel; they played very well and we expected that. We knew we had to fight 200% tonight, and I think we defended well and found some solutions in attack. We cracked at the end; things didn't go our way and we're going to try and capitalise on the positives we can take from this game, because we've still got a big month of December ahead of us, and we mustn't give up."

Luc Steins (Paris Saint-Germain handball centre-half):

"It's hard to say what we were lacking tonight. The last few minutes were costly. We missed a few shots and they took advantage of that to make the difference. Füchse Berlin are one of the best teams in the world. We did some good things today, but it wasn't enough. We don't like to lose, and now we have to analyse what went wrong so that we can get back on track this Sunday in the league."
