Andreas in boss mode
Despite Paris Saint-Germain Handball's being beaten 34-37 by Berlin, Andreas Palicka turned in a fine performance and was duly rewarded for his efforts in the EHF Champions League Matchday 9 clash.
Not only did the Swedish international make five saves, he also did his bit to make life as difficult as possible for the German forward line. With ten minutes left to play, the visitors had a great chance to take the lead. At the pointy end of a well-executed counter-attack, Fabian Wiede found himself one-on-one with Andreas. But our 'keeper sprang smartly off his line and got in front of the Berlin right-back, leveraging some spectacular agility to keep out the close-range shot with his right foot. It was a wonderful feat that has earned him a place in this week's Top Saves.
