Les Bleus win Parisian face-off

On Wednesday evening, a France side featuring Luka Karabatic and Elohim Prandi took on the Poland of Kamil Syprzak Euro 2024 qualifying Round 3. Les Bleus won (28-38).

The task was not easy for the French, who had to face a side that had given them a hard time two months earlier during the World Cup (26-24). Two factors suggested that the game would not be all fun and games. The first one was that the match took place on Polish soil, in Gdansk, the second that this time, Parisian pivot Kamil Syprzak was on the team sheet for Poland.

However, Guillaume Gille's men controlled the game from beginning to end, thanks in particular to an excellent start. At the break, they were leading the game by a large margin (11-22). The domination was confirmed in the second half and Les Bleus won a precious victory away from home.

In individual terms, our players stood out, with a goal for Kamil Syprzak, but also a 2 from 2 for Luka Karabatic and a 3 from 3 for Elohim Prandi. This success saw France continue their perfect record in the qualifying group, with three wins in as many games. They are therefore logically at the top of Group 5, ahead of their opponents on the day, whom they will meet again on Saturday in the reverse fixture, in Aix-en-Provence.
