Kim Ekdahl du Rietz: 'We're here to win a title'

On Sunday evening, Paris Saint-Germain Handball will play in the Coupe de le Ligue final in Le Mans, having beaten Ivry 27-22 in the semis on Saturday. Jesus Gonzalez, Kim Ekdahl du Rietz endgame their thoughts on Les Rouge et Bleus' performance and the sud rotation effected throughout the match.

Jesus Gonzalez (Paris Saint-Germain Handball assistant coach):

"We managed to give everyone game time, which is very important for the final. We played very well in the first half, but the second was more complicated, as we rested on our laurels a bit. But the main thing was to win and have the chance to play on Sunday! We lost the chance to win another Coupe de France, so we need to get busy and win our first title of the season. It will be very important for our confidence."

Kim Ekdahl du Rietz (Paris Saint-Germain Handball left-back):

"I'm very happy. We won and that's why we're here: to win a title. In terms of how we won, I would have preferred us to have stayed more concentrated. We let it slide a bit in the second half. But now we can focus on our final and watch video of our future opponent tomorrow."

Adama Keita (Paris Saint-Germain Handball left-winger):

"We controlled the match pretty well against a strong Ivry side. Especially in the first half, when we created a sizeable lead, which gave us the opportunity to rate the team - and that's an excellent thing for the final on Sunday. This is an important trophy for me as it was the first one I won as a professional player. We will give 100% no matter who our opponents may be. It will be huge match."
