Kamil Syprzak extends with Paris

Paris Saint-Germain Handball is pleased to announce the extension of Kamil Syprzak's contract for two more seasons. The pivot is now linked to the Club until June 30, 2025.

Arriving in the capital in the summer of 2019, the native of Plock (POL) has won three French league titles, two Coupes de France and a Trophée des Champions with Les Rouge et Bleu. In 121 matches for Paris, the 2m07 player has racked up 505 goals, including 187 goals in the Champions League. This season, Kamil Syprzak finished top scorer for Les Rouge et Bleu 20 times in all competitions. The Polish pivot scored 149 goals in the Liqui Moly Starligue and was named in the team of the season.
With Poland's national team, Kamil Syprzak scored 229 goals in 120 appearances, notably winning the bronze medal at the World Championships in 2015.

"This extension is a logical continuation for me," said Kamil Syprzak. "Paris Saint-Germain aims for excellence and this reinforces my desire to be a long-term player. For many reasons, I feel good in this club and in this city, which allows me to play the best handball of my career. I also have the feeling that I am able to go one step further by staying in Paris and I am very happy about that.  I am sure that I can still contribute to the team and give our fans something to smile about in the coming seasons."

"Kamil Syprzak has demonstrated, once again this season, the full extent of his qualities," reacted Jean-Claude Blanc, Paris Saint-Germain's General Manager. He is a major part of our team, as proven by his consistency and his recent election to the Liqui Moly Starligue's team of the season. Right now, he is among the best in his position. His contribution will be crucial for the Club to shine in the different competitions. Knowing that he will be with us for several more years is a real guarantee of satisfaction."
