Henrik Toft Hansen: 'A very tactical match!'

On Saturday afternoon, the Paris Saint-Germain Handball won away to Ivry (25-35), coming out on top in a tough Lidl Starligue Round 5 encounter. Jesus Gonzalez, Henrik Toft Hansen and Ferran Solé Sala gave us their thoughts on the match.

Jesus Gonzalez (Paris Saint-Germain Handball assistant coach):
"Our defense was good, especially in 6-0. But sometimes we took too many risks to win the ball back and we conceded a few goals. The 5-1 worked better and allowed us to score on counter-attacks. It wasn't easy, but we won. Now it's time for Kielce! We have to prepare well and continue our momentum after our home win against Elverum."

Henrik Toft Hansen (Paris Saint-Germain Handball pivot):
"It was very complicated, because Ivry are a good team. It was a very tactical match. We had to stay very focused for the full 60 minutes. It's very good for us to have won; we took two more points before attacking the coming week, which will also be an important one. We're on a good five-game winning streak in the league and the team is progressing well. Two games a week is difficult, especially with injuries, but we continue to work hard."

Ferran Solé Sala (Paris Saint-Germain Handball right-winger):
"The start of the second half was complicated and we lost the good rhythm we had in the first. But apart from those 15 minutes, we had a good game. We have to play like that! The important thing is the two points. We can be satisfied before we look ahead to Kielce, because that will be important match in the Champions League."
