Our Spaniard's massive goal haul against Zagreb wasn't the first time 'Ferri' had scored eight goals in a European match - that was last season, at home to Barcelona (28-28).
But that record has now been surpassed. Against Zagreb (30-33), the Spanish winger scored 12 goals from 13 attempts. With a 92.30% success rate on the wing, at 6m, 7m or 9m, Ferran Solé was almost perfect. A great performance that saw him included in the Best 7 for EHF Champions League Matchday 11 - in the unusual position of right-back!
A very good performance for the player who has just extended his contract with Les Rouge et Bleu until 2024.
