Elohim Prandi: 'We respected Limoges'

On Saturday afternoon, in Lidl StarLigue Round 7 action, Paris Saint-Germain Handball bagged a massive win over nearest rivals Limoges (42-20). Raul Gonzalez, Elohim Prandi and Andry Goujon Bellevue gave us their thoughts on the match.

Raul Gonzalez (Paris Saint-Germain Handball coach):
"We played with a lot of intensity! We had to against this excellent team, who had notably beaten Nantes. Everyone got a run and a chance to play. That allowed us to be solid in defense. I'm happy - we played well for 60 minutes. Now it's time for the international break. We will continue the work with the players who remain in Paris."

Elohim Prandi (Paris Saint-Germain Handball left-back):
"We managed to make the match easy for ourselves. We shone in defence and on the ball. We respected Limoges by playing in the best possible way for 60 minutes. This bodes well for the coming weeks. It feels good to have scored 13 goals (his record in the Lidl StarLigue), I feel better and better in the style of play that Raul has asked for. I have to prove with every game that I can be decisive. But the most important thing is to win!"

Andry Goujon Bellevue (Paris Saint-Germain Handball left-back):
"The whole team played well! It's a pleasure, especially against Limoges, who were right behind us in the standings - we widened the gap a bit before the international break. I was able to score my first goal as a professional! What's more, I did it for this club, where I have been learning my trade since I arrived in France four years ago. This club has given me everything and I am happy to have been able to score in these colours. It's Ferran (Solé) who usually shoots the penalties. I asked if I could take one, because I felt good about it. I went for it and when it went in, the pressure lifted!"
