Elohim Prandi and Luka Karabatic get France call for EHF Euro Cup
With the first international break of the season fast approaching, the first squad lists have been released. Elohim Prandi and Luka Karabatic will be back in action with Les Bleus, having been included in Guillaume Gille's 20-man squad.
Having automatically qualified for EHF Euro 2026 thanks to their triumph in Germany a few months ago, France do not have to go through a long and testing qualification phase. So, to keep up the pace during the forthcoming international break, Les Bleus will be taking part in the EHF Euro Cup, a friendly competition that will pit France against Sweden and Norway, both of whom also qualify automatically as hosts. The reigning European champions will host Sweden in Orléans on Wednesday 6 November before travelling to Stavanger three days later to take on Norway. On this occasion, two Parisians will turn out for France: Elohim Prandi and Luka Karabatic, who continues to wear the cpatain's armband in Guillaume Gille's team.
