Eight Parisians pre-selected
From January 13 to 31, the 2021 IHF World Championships will be held in Egypt. On Tuesday, France coach Guillaume Gille announced his extended squad, which includes eight players from Paris Saint-Germain Handball.
Unsurprisingly, we find France regulars Yann Genty, Vincent Gérard, Mathieu Grébille, Elohim Prandi, Luka Karabatic and Nedim Remili in the squad. In addition, two of our players make a welcome return to Les Bleus: wingers Benoît Kounkoud and Dylan Nahi. However, this list of 35 players is not definitive and could change before the tournament takes place. On 6 October the France delegation will take up residence in 6th of October City, in Giza, where they will face Norway, Austria and the United States during the preliminary phase.

As a reminder, Les Experts will also have two previously postponed qualification matches for EHF Euro 2022, to be played on 5 and 9 January against Serbia. A new squad will be announced on December 28th for these two meetings.
