Denmark, Spain finish well

After their respective successes against Argentina (31-20) and Tunisia (36-30), these two nations topped their groups and are now preparing for the main round.

Rested during the previous game against the Democratic Republic of Congo, Mikkel Hansen was back in action hit the ground running against Argentina. Our left-back fired an impressive 7 from 9 and provided three assists to help the reigning World Champions continue their run of comfortable wins in their first three matches.

The group stage is now over and the main round is underway. First opponents: Qatar, at 20:30 on Thursday. The Danes will then take on Japan at 20:30 on Saturday before battling Croatia at 20:30 next Monday in their final outing before the final stages. These matches should be broadcast on beIN Sports.

With five interceptions between them, Viran Morros and Ferran Sole were massive in Spain's rear-guard. Our two Parisians were no slouches at the other end of the court either, with two goals for our winger and a real rarity: a first goal at these World Championships for our out-and-out defender.

The Hispanos kick off the main round with a tough test against Germany this Thursday at 20:30. Two days later, they will face Uruguay, and then powerhouse Hungary, who have made it to the main round with a perfect run of three victories, on Monday.
