Born and bred in Madrid, Pablo Sarabia joined Real Madrid’s Cantera youth academy back in 2003. He began his pro career with Real Madrid Castilla, the club’s reserve team, in 2009, and scored 15 goals in 49 games. Sarabia managed just one first team appearance for Real when he replaced Cristiano Ronaldo in a Champions League game against Auxerre. He moved on to Getafe in the suburbs of Madrid before really making his mark five years later with Sevilla.
Sarabia attracted the interest of the Parisian scouts and he moved to France in the 2019 summer transfer window. A tireless worker, ‘Pablito’ holds a special place in the hearts of Paris supporters after becoming the first Rouge et Bleu player to score in each of the first five rounds of the Coupe de France in 2020. After spending the 2021/22 season on loan at Sporting Lisbon, the Spain international returned to Paris in summer 2022.
