The Dutchman, a pure product of the Ajax youth academy, joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2019. After a period of adaptation, and a lot of hard work, the young left-back has made several appearances in Rouge et Bleu, and his performances have caught the eye. He won the Coupe de la Ligue and the Coupe de France in the summer of 2020, and continued into the start of the season.
This rise through the ranks in Paris saw him earn a first call-up to the Netherlands U-21 squad, after having played in all youth categories (U15, U16, U17, U18, U19 and 21).
