Born in Villeurbane on 2 September 2002, Bradley Barcola began his career with AS Buers at the tender age of six. Two years later, he joined the youth academy at Olympique Lyonnais. Talented and quick to progress, Bardley went from strength to strength within the Lyon academy. During the 2019-2020 season, the striker made his name with Lyon's U19 side, scoring 11 goals in 17 league appearances, so it was a natural step for him to sign his first professional contract with Les Gones in September 2021. He soon got his first pro minutes, notably in Europe against Sparta Prague on 4 November 2021. In 2022-2023, Bradley exploded onto the scene. He made 31 appearances for Lyon, scoring seven goals and providing 11 assists - enough to earn him a place in the shortlist for Ligue 1's Young Player of the Season award. With the French national team, he played in various sections (U18s and U20s) before settling into the French U21 team, starting at Euro 2023, during which he scored his first two goals for Les Bleuets. In August 2023, Barcola signed a five-season contract with Paris Saint-Germain, and is now linked to the capital club through to 2028.
