A product of the Paris Saint-Germain youth academy where he stayed between 2000 and 2010, Alexandre then joined Angers, signing his first professional contract in Anjou.
Under contract with the SCO until 2020, he then played for the Young Boys of Bern (Switzerland), ESTAC and Sarpsborg 08 (Norway), before finally returning to his first love and signing up as third goalkeeper for Paris Saint-Germain in the 2020-21 season. Since, the love affair between the Paris-born custodian and the City of Light has continued, with the custodian twice winning the Ligue 1 title at the capital club (in 2022 and 2023).
