It’s the story of a child from the Eternal City who is then brought under the spotlight in the City of Light: Alessandro Florenzi was born in Rome, grew up in Rome and came through the ranks at Roma, the most popular club from the Italian capital. It is therefore with the Giallorosso that the Italian international has written nearly all of the chapters in his career, apart from two seasons spent on loan, with Crotone (2011-2012) and Valencia in Spain (2020).
Initially a midfielder that was capable of playing on the wing, Alessandro dropped a little deeper and became a full-back, but his ability on the counter-attack and his quality with the ball continue to cause sparks to fly.
Ambitious and experienced, the Italian quickly adapted to life with Paris Saint-Germain after arriving during the summer of 2020.
