Thomas Tuchel: 'We're relaxed'
The Paris Saint-Germain coach told the media his side are in an upbeat mood ahead of Sunday's Ligue 1 encounter with Strasbourg.
THE SQUAD
"Neymar Jr and Edinson Cavani have individual programmes and have done so for several weeks. Ney has started running again and is working with the ball, while Edi is working intensively. They're not with the team, and they won't be with us for tomorrow's match. Moussa Diaby neither, he's injured, like Marquinhos. Angel Di Maria isn't 100 per cent and he won't be able to play tomorrow. For Thomas Meunier, we need to take a decision after today's training session. As for Gigi Buffon, he'll play in goal tomorrow."
THE TITLE
"It doesn't depend just on us. We also need Lille not to win at Reims for us to win it. I think Lille can and will win, because this team has a lot of quality and is playing with confidence. I watched their game at Nantes last Sunday, which was a very intense game. We have to focus on ourselves without thinking about possible consequences. Our responsibility will be to win, even if it's difficult to put a team together with so many injured players as we can't take any risks with them. But we're relaxed."
LIGUE 1 SEASON
"Some people think it's too soon in the season to be champions? When you keep on winning, you get to a stage when others think it's easy to win the title or that our opponents aren't strong enough. What I can say is that we're having a great season, the team is showing an exceptional attitude with always the same hunger to win."
JUAN BERNAT
"There's no secret with Juan: he has a lot of qualities, a very good attitude too. He's a great professional. We pay a lot of attention to him because we know that he didn't play a lot with Bayern Munich over the last two seasons, but he is doing all he can to stand up and be counted every day. He has done a lot of prevention work with physios, he deserves the credit for playing at such a level. This season, he has been very important for us. He's playing in a number of positions and always with the same attitude."
