Thomas Tuchel: 'We're favourites'

The Paris Saint-Germain coach told media his team had all the expectation of victory on them with Angers arriving in the capital on Saturday.

SQUAD
"Layvin Kurzawa and Marco Verratti will miss out. Marco has worked very hard, he's very professional. I think he's close to making a comeback. For Layvin, it's different. His injury is a little more complicated, but he's working well. You have to show patience. There are no other injuries."

ANGERS
"It's clear we're favourites. Angers have lost their first two games [3-4 vs. Nîmes, 1-0 a Rennes]. Having said that, I thought against Rennes, it was an even contest. Angers are a very compact, very aggressive team. I think they'll want to defend well at the Parc des Princes."

GOALKEEPERS
"Alphonse is going to play against Angers and Nîmes, we'll see after that. I'm not making a definitive decision. We think it's important for Alphonse to play as he hasn't done so since May. For the team, it's important he plays. Gigi has put in three magnificent displays. I'm not happy to take him out of the team, but in this preparation phase, it's important for Alphonse to play and adapt to the team."

BRAZILIANS
"I like their attitude a lot! They have real joie de vivre. They listen to a lot of music, make a lot of jokes...I like that. On the other hand, they work a lot, they're very professional. It's important to have both for us. They have a good attitude and work hard for the team."

MBAPPÉ/CAVANI/NEYMAR JR
"Don't forget Di Maria! He also plays in attack, is always ready, has won everything...I have got to know the players, not only in tactical and technical terms, but also their character. It's the very top level! They're very professional. There's no problem between the four of them and I want that to continue. They're key players. Each has their own qualities. It's important to put them at the service of the team."

EDINSON CAVANI
"Edi came back in top form. He's worked hard for two weeks and joined the team again this week. I'm going to speak to him and together we'll take the decision whether or not he starts against Angers."
