Thomas Tuchel: 'This team deserves the four trophies'

Thomas Tuchel, Ander Herrera, Pablo Sarabia and Marco Verratti gave their thoughts on the Parisians Coupe de la Ligue final win over Lyon.

Ander Herrera (Paris Saint-Germain midfielder)
"Lyon are a very strong team that plays with five defenders. They didn't concede a goal against Juventus, which is proof it's tough to score against them. We did create quite a few chances. Keylor made some saves. We knew before the game they were a tough team, disciplined, with a lot of talent, so I think we can be very happy.

It's been a fantastic week for us. We've won two trophies and that's not easy to do. We're very happy and we're ready for the Champions League now. We have had three, four very good weeks of training. We all feel ready.

On the pitch, I felt it was the Coupe de la Ligue final, the last one. Both teams really wanted to win. It was very important for us. When I came to Paris, the most important things, even more than the Champions League, were the domestic trophies and we've won four. We have done the business here in France and now we're ready for the Champions League."

Thomas Tuchel (Paris Saint-Germain coach)
"Ander has analysed the situation very well, our performance. I'm very proud of him, of my team. They're guys you can count on, who play, who enjoy working and suffering together. I like that a lot. I'm proud and happy.

We haven't lost our focus, our hunger for victory, our confidence. We won on penalties and that counts! We have won four trophies, there's a good atmosphere in the dressing room. And I'm very happy because everyone thinks it's normal to win, but it's not that easy. This team deserves the four trophies they've won, and I'm very happy about that."

Marco Verratti (Paris Saint-Germain midfielder)
"It was a very difficult match. We suffered a lot, but that makes the victory taste all the sweeter. It's good sometimes to win on penalties. We really played as a team, we suffered together. I think the win is deserved. We're really very happy to pick up another trophy."

Pablo Sarabia (Paris Saint-Germain midfielder)
"It was a very difficult game, but this success has enabled us to win our fourth trophy of the season. It was important to put in a good display and to get into the right rhythm before the Champions League, which is an opportunity to win another trophy. It's always important to have a great goalkeeper to win things, and Keylor showed that."
