Thiago Silva received his trophy
Paris Saint-Germain defender Thiago Silva received his trophy after being named Ligue 1 Player of the Month for October ahead of kick-off in the 2-0 home win over Lille.
The Brazil international received 37% of the votes to finish ahead of Monaco's Wissam Ben Yedder (33%) and Paris teammate Angel Di Maria (30%).
It was the second time the Paris captain has received the award after March 2013.
