The Parisian Advent calendar - 16 for…

As Christmas approaches, PSG.FR takes this opportunity to look back at one of Paris Saint-Germain's key numbers from this year. Day 16.

16 for... Warren Zaïre-Emery, who became the 1st player born in 2006 to play in the UEFA Champions League

Warren Zaire-Emery became the first player in history born in 2006 to play in a UEFA Champions League match when he replaced Vitinha in the 79th minute of the match against Maccabi Haifa at the Parc des Princes (7-2, Matchday 5). This is a remarkable achievement in Europe for the player who had already become the first player born in 2006 to play in a Ligue 1 match during the 5-0 victory over Clermont Foot 63 last August.

He is also the youngest Parisian player to play a UEFA Champions League match at 16 years, 7 months and 17 days. He thus overtook Tanguy Kouassi, who played his first match in the competition at the age of 17 years and 6 months. Warren Zaïre-Emery became the sixth youngest player in history to play in a UEFA Champions League match, behind Youssoufa Moukoko (Borussia Dortmund - 16 years and 18 days) and Rayan Cherki (Olympique Lyonnais - 16 years, 3 months and 10 days).

The U19 international is ahead of players such as Ansu Fati (FC Barcelona - 16 years, 10 months and 17 days), Gavi (FC Barcelona - 17 years, 1 month and 9 days), Jude Bellingham (Borussia Dortmund - 17 years, 3 months and 21 days) and his current teammate Lionel Messi (FC Barcelona - 17 years, 5 months and 13 days)
