Match in numbers

Check out the best of the numbers thrown up by Sunday's Ligue 1 win.

18-OUT-OF-18

Make that six wins from six since the start of the season for the Parisians, the third time the Club has achieved the feat after 2017/18 and 2018/19. Paris have now won four of their last five league games against Lyon (1 defeat).

Mauro Icardi: the saviour

It's Mauro Icardi who lifted spirits at the Parc des Princes. Kylian Mbappé's cross was inch-perfect, and the Argentina international striker finished with his usual panache. It's the second match winner he's struck in added time for the Rouge et Bleu after that in the 95th minute against Saint-Etienne last April (3-2).

prolific parisian attack

The Rouge et Bleu have scored 18 times in their six league games, an average of three per match.  Mauro Icardi and Neymar both scored, Kylian Mbappé had an assist and Lionel Messi was involved in six shots (4 attempts, 2 last passes). Only Mbappé against Clermont (7) has done better among Paris players this season.
The Paris number  7 has now been involved in 150 Ligue 1 goals since his Ligue 1 debut on 2 December 2015 (111 goals, 39 assists). That's 35 more than any other player in that time.

Rai, BACK HOME

The Parc des Princes rose as one to celebrate the legendary Rai (215 matches, 72 goals between 1993 and 1998). The former Parisian number 10 enjoyed a lap of honour and gave the ceremonial kick-off on a night to remember.
