Stats & Facts: A look back at the win against Monaco

Match in numbers

Check out the key figures and headline facts from Paris Saint-Germain's 2-0 victory against Monaco at the Parc des Princes in Sunday's Ligue 1 Matchday 18 encounter.

Paris STILL UNBEATEN AT THE PARC

The capital club prevailed in style to mark their last game at the Parc des Princes this year and extend their unbeaten run. Undefeated in their last nine Ligue 1 matches (six wins, three draws), Paris boast the best ongoing record in the division. In fact, only Atalanta (ten games) have remained unbeaten for longer in Europe's top five championships. Paris have also played the most matches at home without suffering a single defeat in Europe's top five leagues this term, having won seven and drawn two of their nine contests. Les Parisiens have likewise won 11 and drawn one of their last 12 home fixtures in Ligue 1. That excellent record can no doubt be partly explained by the return of supporters to the Parc des Princes this season.

Paris RETURN TO WINNING WAYS

Paris got back on winning track on Sunday after two consecutive draws in Ligue 1 (against Nice and Lens). That was no mean feat against the club's bête noire down the years, even if the recent trend has favoured the capital side – with 11 wins, one draw and two defeats from their latest meetings in all competitions. In Ligue 1, on the other hand, Paris have won just five of their 20 home encounters with Monaco in the 21st century (nine draws, six defeats), the club's lowest win percentage in home matches against a top-flight side they have faced more than once in that period (21%).

Kylian Mbappé'S 100TH LIGUE 1 GOAL FOR paris

The World Cup winner scored his 99th and 100th Ligue 1 goals for Paris against Monaco, becoming the third player to reach a century with the capital outfit after Edinson Cavani (138) and Zlatan Ibrahimović (113). The Paris forward also set a record as the youngest player to register 100 top-flight goals for the same team (aged 22 years and 357 days) since Opta began recording that statistic (1950/51). Having now struck a total of 145 goals for Paris, the No7 can likewise pride himself on drawing closer to the records held by Paris's two most prolific players of all time (156 goals for Ibrahimović, 200 for Cavani). Thanks to his latest double, the Île-de-France native has also managed ten goals in ten games against Monaco – the club where he first turned professional.

Nenê PAYS A VISIT TO THE Parc des Princes

The former Paris Saint-Germain player (48 goals in 112 games between 2010 and 2013) was at the Parc to watch the victory against Monaco, another of his old teams. The Brazilian also took part in the pre-match live build-up and received a warm welcome from the Paris fans.
