PARIS SLAY THEIR BêTE (ROUGE ET) NOIRE

Paris have laid their demons to rest! By winning at home to a considerable bogey team of theirs last night, the capital club beat I Rossoneri for the first time in their history in a competitive fixture. Before then, AC Milan were the club that Paris Saint-Germain had faced the most often in the UEFA Champions League without ever defeating (two draws and two defeats). Les Parisiens are also on a four-game winning streak against Italian sides in the competition, having failed to win any of their first six encounters with teams from the other side of the Alps (four draws and two defeats).

MBAPPÉ CONTINUES TO BLOSSOM ON HOME SOIL

Having broken the deadlock against Il Diavolo, Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappé has now been involved in 15 goals in his last ten UEFA Champions League encounters at the Parc des Princes (11 goals and four assists). In that time, the only game in which he failed to contribute to a goal was against Bayern Munich, a match in which he came off the bench and played just 33 minutes.

DON'T TALK TO WARREN ZAÏRE-EMERY ABOUT AGE

After playing his own part in the goals on Wednesday and being named as UEFA's Player of the Match, at 17 years and 231 days old, Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Warren Zaïre-Emery became the first player in the capital club's history to make 20 appearances across all competitions before the age of 18. By bagging himself assists for Paris's first two goals of the night (and with an overall total of three assists to his name in the competition), Les Rouge et Bleu's no. 33 is the youngest player to register at least two assists in the UEFA Champions League since Opta records began, thereby beating the record set by Theo Walcott (17 years and 250 days old). The Montreuil native also boasts five assists across all competitions this season – at least three more than any other Paris player.

lee celebrates his very own OKTOBERFEST

Fresh off the back of winning the Asian Games with South Korea's U23s and scoring his first two goals for the Taegeuk Warriors, Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Lee Kang-in continued his sensational October by netting Les Rouge et Bleu's third goal against Milan just a few minutes after coming on. Not only was this his first goal for the capital club, but it was also the first of his career in the UEFA Champions League, with the no. 19 becoming the fourth South Korean to find the back of the net in the competition, following in the footsteps of Son Heung-min (19 goals scored), Park Ji-sung (four goals scored) and Hwang Hee-chan (three goals scored).
