Ousmane Dembélé: 'We've gained a lot of confidence'

The Paris Saint-Germain coach and Ousmane Dembélé spoke to PSG TV, after Matchday 11 of Ligue 1 against Montpellier HSC (3-0).

LUIS ENRIQUE

"I have to say that I really liked Montpellier. It was very challenging. The start of the match was tough. We scored a goal from our first chance and that calmed us down, but I'm especially pleased with the second half, which was a half of total domination and we managed to win the match. We scored three goals without conceding. It's a perfect evening. It's wonderful to have players of this profile: young, talented and with a lot of quality. As a coach, it's incredible for me. I see it every week in training, I see it every day, and of course, the goal is to improve the players and make sure the team continues to aim for as many titles as possible in the competitions we participate in."

Ousmane Dembélé

"It's a great feeling. We've known each other for about three or four months now, training all together. We've received a lot of instructions and tactical work from the coach, and we try to apply it in matches. It's important. Also, we wanted to be top of the league before the other teams played. We've gained a lot of confidence in front of our home crowd. We won 3-0, and we're preparing well for the Champions League.

How did I feel? Very good. I felt comfortable on the right side. Now, I know Warren and Achraf a bit more, it's going really well. So, I'm also happy with my performance."
