Neymar Jr takes Brazil into the quarter-finals

Led by Thiago Silva and Neymar Jr, who scored one and set up the other, Brazil saw off Mexico and will now play Belgium in the last eight.

Neymar Jr opened the scoring from a Willian (51') before teeing up Roberto Firmino for the second (88'). In the quarter-final, Brazil will now play Belgium in Kazan on 6 July.

Neymar Jr and Thiago Silva played the whole game while Marquinhos came on for Willian (90'+1).

After braces for Kylian Mbappé and Edinson Cavani and Angel Di Maria's goal on Saturday, the Parisians continue having an influence on the World Cup.
