Mbappé, Neymar Jr, Messi: an update on the top scorers and passers

After matchday 27 of Ligue 1, during which the Rouge et Bleu won against Brest (2-1), Paris Saint-Germain's attacking trio are once again topping the individual rankings.

Paris Saint-Germain's trip to Brest last Saturday saw them secure a fourth consecutive Ligue 1 victory in a thrilling 1-2 win. The Parisians are now ten points clear of Olympique de Marseille at the top of the table, before hosting Stade Rennais FC this Sunday at the Parc des Princes. As for our Rouge et Bleu, they continue to dominate the individual rankings.

Kylian Mbappé, who scored in the final moments of the game against Brest, continues to dominate the overall top scorers' ranking with 19 goals! The Paris Saint-Germain striker has as many goals as Lille's Jonathan David. He is also ahead of three regulars in the ranking: Wissam Ben Yedder of Monaco, Alexandre Lacazette of Lyon and Folarin Balogun of Reims, all three of whom have scored 16 league goals.

The Argentine striker Leo Messi, meanwhile, leads the way in assists. With another assist for Kylian Mbappé to give the Rouge et Bleu the win on Saturday, the Paris No30 is once again top of the table with 13 assists to his name. His nearest challenger is none other than... Neymar Jr (11), his club team-mate who recently underwent surgery following an ankle injury.

With 13 goals and as many assists, Leo Messi is now involved in 26 league goals this season, making him the most decisive player in Ligue 1.
